The 808nm diode laser machine emits light at a wavelength that is highly absorbed by melanin, generating heat that damages the cells that are responsible for hair growth. Incorporating cooling systems, often referred to as TEC technology, helps to mitigate discomfort and protect the surrounding skin throughout the procedure. This technology, which combines precise wavelength selection, controlled energy parameters, and cooling mechanisms, allows for effective and relatively comfortable hair removal treatments by selectively damaging hair follicles while minimizing the risk of harm to the surrounding skin.
