Diode Laser for Hair Removal: Diode lasers emit light with a certain wavelength, usually around 808 nm. This wavelength is absorbed by the melanin pigment in hair follicles in a selective manner. The melanin in the hair follicles absorbs the laser energy when the Diode laser is pointed at the treatment region. The ability of the hair follicles to produce new hair is harmed when this energy is transformed into heat. The targeted hair follicles weaken considerably over time and after several therapy sessions, which reduces hair density and growth.
