Diode Laser for Hair Removal: The Diode laser emits a specific wavelength of light, commonly around 808nm. This wavelength is selectively absorbed by the melanin pigment present in the hair follicles. When the Diode laser is directed onto the treatment area, the melanin in the hair follicles absorbs the laser energy. This energy is then converted into heat, which damages the hair follicles’ ability to grow hair. Over time and multiple treatment sessions, the targeted hair follicles become significantly weakened, leading to a reduction in hair growth and density.
